almost spring

So a wet bank holiday spent walking in the woods. Looking for new inspirations which are found almost everywhere. It was bursting with life.

This is where we saw a fox silhouetted by the sunlight through the canopy. Who disappeared as quickly as he was seen as I raised the camera for a quick shot.

Also visiting some of the studios on the Lunesdale Art Trail.

busy week in school

Phew that was manic 5 days in school with 35 year 6s working towards their arts award. We planned to celebrate their years in school and learn new skills in the process so we looked at creating new fabric and tie dyeing. That was the first day so we had the materials to create our banners.
Each one with a different theme so we went for Key Stages 1 & 2, visitors to school including Prince Charles, visits with school and the people that touched their lives and journey through the school, Cherryfold Primary.

So I present the finished banners well there maybe some
tweaking but here they are.

Ceramics at the Mill 2013

Lesley Anne Greene

Ceramics at the Mill is now over and I think it was a bit of a success. We had around 500 visitors and quite a number of sales. The feedback has been amazing. From the quality and range of work to the workshops being fabulous and well the cake... the cakes have raised enough to have 2 new banners made for the Bowland festival open weekend in June!
