Potfest at the Palace

What a lovely show Potfest was at its new venue at Scone Palace on the outskirts of Perth.

Peacocks on the lawn too.

An added bonus was the staff at the palace kept bringing me beautiful flowers from the gardens.

And here are some stands of my drinking buddies....

Dylans mum Gwen Bainbridge

Stephen Kingsford
Ralph Jandrell

And friends.
Unfortunately since getting back I have had an accident and am laid up at home not being able to do much and not allowed to do a lot of computer work as I have bashed my head on my sack barrow as I was unloading my car at a school. So after a trip to casualty I am sitting on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. Lots of work to do and I'm not allowed to do any of it boo.

owah! is all I can say so I'll sign off till next time x

three down one more to go......

Who booked four events in three weekends back to back? hmmm yes might have to have words with myself tired is not the word for it!

So this weekend was Open Studios at Higherford Mill and yesterday was The Art Market in Holmfirth. The Market was a fantastic event with so much beautiful work and not alot of time to get to see it all when you are on a stall might have to take an assistant to the next one.

Saturday was Open Studios at Higherford Mill with almost all of us opening for the day to display our wares. There were some new visitors and old friends who came to say hello and there are still people in the village who don't know we are in the mill! I've been in the mill for 9 years with a studio in the village for 10! oh well maybe I need better advertising.

The Mill artists.....
